Marc Aproskie

Integration & Solutions Architect

I design the integration backbone that connects ERP, commerce, OMS and warehouse systems — event-driven architecture, enterprise integration, and the decomposition of legacy estates. Across AWS, GCP and Azure.

I work at the front of the lifecycle: discovery, target-state design, canonical modelling and the reference patterns delivery teams build against — and stay close enough to the build to keep the design honest.

Selected work

Lindt — global integration hub

Event-driven backbone on AWS EventBridge with a three-part canonical event model, connecting SAP S/4HANA, Adobe Commerce and multi-market fulfilment. One delivery team now serves every market instead of a team per region. (via VML)

Sigma Pharmaceuticals — monolith decomposition

Strangler approach splitting sales operations from ERP/WMS on a Business Central estate failing under load, connected through a GCP integration layer. Live in production. (via VML)

Akzo Nobel — global paint system modernisation

Cloud migration of the mission-critical system controlling 55,000 industrial dispensers worldwide. (via VML)

XE.com — exchange ledger migration

Moved a business-critical ledger to cloud: quarterly all-day releases became daily deployments with rollback.

Tide — payment infrastructure

E-money account migration without service disruption, and real-time settlement and reconciliation design for a business banking platform.
